Hello all. My name is Garret. I'm in Louisville, Ky. 32 years old. I have never played airsoft, but am interested in combat techniques and simulations. I was interested in the real thing but wasn't able to join the military. Thanks to those of you on here who have served!!

I'm just trying to find out what Airsoft is all about. I would love to attend a game and see what goes on, and how things take place. Maybe get further involved from there. I don't have any equipment except a tacvest and some molle attachment pouches. I do have real guns/knives, and gun/knife gear, and I do know how to use them for target practice and recreational shooting. I don't know if you guys do actual training for combat scenerios or if it's just "pell-mell let's go have fun shooting at something that moves without having to kill anything" fun- I would hate to be the only military wannbe in the bunch, but that could be fun too.

What I would have to offer is teachability- I love learning, and do so very quickly. I am very agile- hence the name monkeyman, and atheletic. I love clean fun competition, and I love to get rough- whenever appropriate. I think I'm a lot of fun to be around- most of the time, and I guess I'm looking for something fun and militarily oriented to do with some cool, fun people.

Not sure where to go from here so I'll let you all reply and clue me in.

Thanks,
Garret- aka Monkeyman

lol well we do a little of both just having fun shooting at people and doing combat training. it would help if you could get a gun but we can probably support you with one. you are welcome to come to any games to just watch or join in as well. on the forms, under geneal decision then under updates and messages from command, their is a "handbook" that posts all rules and regulations. the only thing we ask you brig if u want to play is your own bbs (.20 g bbs please, anything lower james guns) full seal goggles like ski goggles and a will to play. any questions, feel free to pm keith byerly or i.
