Im new to airsoft

Hi my name is joel liles i am 14 yrs old. im from lagrange ky. this is my first airsoft experiance, but everyone has to start somewhere right? could you all give me some good guns i could get for my first gun?

its cool man u r right we all have to start somewhere, im lane of the lc brothers, cole is my older brother. im 19. great to have u an the team. the gun u want depends on your style of play really. r u a normal mid range shooter, long range/sniper or in your face cqc(close corters combat)?

More of infantry type so cqc

Scratch that i would actually rather be mid range so im not in the others face

thats fine thats what most end up as and really its the best place to start if you are new. personaly i would go with a m14, m16 or ak47 style gun. make sure not to get the dmr versions of them, they are more accurate but have much longer barrels and generaly cost much more. a great site to go to as well is evike.com. they are shitty if u want them to customeize your gun but for information they are great. they also have a thing where they tell you what gun best fits your style of play

Ya ive been saving up money and i have 200 dollars would i be able to get one of those guns with that much?

also when looking for a gun the things u need to look for are:
fps(how fast it shots)- arount 350 to 400 is good

velocity(how far it goes)- the box is usally way off but look for the ones that say 75 to 100 yards

price- set by you

and finally make sure it has a adjustable hop-up and metal gears.
if you have any questions just post what gun it is and about it in general airsoft talk forum you will get feedback from others on the team.

a my gun is a d-boy SCAR and it is kick ass! and it was 150 so 200 will get you a great gun

You don't have to have camo yet but yes I can let you use one of my extra guns and bbs. Googles I don't have a extra so, but I think some other members do. Next game is this Saturday.

yea i got some goggles you can use man but there not the best but they do the job.

techincally.. velocity. is the fps.... you meant range..

dboys are decent guns.. the wiring is horrid tho...
I own a dboys 416, with new wires, bushings, motor, hopup, tightbore, and a 10.8v its pretty sexy.
I also have a zombat stryker from echo1. .with all kwa internals.. gears, wires, motor, etc.
a stock cyma akm.. painted flat black with an m110 spring in... its not bad..
and a custom made sl8 cqb (basically an sl8 with a g36c front end. with an m4 magwell adapter..

so. the guns you pick are really up to you..
