Face Protection
I have a paintball mask, but when wearing it, I can't get my face behind my gun to see through the iron sites. So I'm looking to get something else for airsoft and was wanting your suggestion.

Re: Face Protection
there are many options.
you can get a riser scope mount for your gun
you can get a lower profile mask
or you can go with just goggles.. and some sort of mouth protection like a ski mask etc... (blaclava)

Re: Face Protection
if you want to look down a scope without buying a riser i would have to say just goggles and a ski mask. you can also get a army/ police helmet which looks good with the goggles and a ski mask especially with matching camo

Re: Face Protection
I agree with Lane Full Face mask maybe the safest thing to do since it will keep a BB for being jammed in your face if it is shot to close (trust me it happened with a ASL member), but its really a pain and a Balaclava will do a the same thing really. anonymoose is right though there are a lot more options then your poll. I would keep the poll vote in mid as a base for my decision but I would try a little of everything. I wore them all at one point and I just like my plan face even though it hurts alot worse.
Re: Face Protection
personally, i use a set of ess turbofan strikers with the JT airsoft mask portion attached to the bottom. it works well. offers full frontal face protection, allows me to breath and use com's as well as my hydro pack - that is a concern with full face systems.
also the turbofans prevent fogging.
